Where are you based?

SOOTRA is based in Bhuj, Gujarat. Every pattern we sell is drawn here. Mugs are printed, checked and packed by us in Bhuj; coasters, sipper bottles and phone cases are printed to our artwork by a production partner in India.

What is the Kutch range?

Twelve patterns, each drawn in the idiom of a different Kutch craft — Ajrakh block print, Lippan mud-and-mirror, Rogan painting, Bandhani tie-dye, Rabari and Khaarek embroidery, Mashru weaving, Namda felt, Nirona lacquer, Nirona copper bells, Mundra batik, Kharad weaving, and the white Rann itself. They run across mugs, coasters and bottles. See the Kutch Collection.

These are our drawings, not reproductions of any artisan's work, and they are not handmade. We name the craft and the village each one comes from because we think that makes a better story than staying vague.

How long will delivery take?

Everything is made to order. It's usually dispatched within 2–4 working days, and delivery normally takes a further 3–6 working days depending on your city. We share tracking by SMS and on WhatsApp as soon as it ships. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Is shipping free?

Yes – shipping is free on all orders across India, with no minimum order value.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery?

Yes, COD is available across India. You pay the courier when it reaches you. Prefer to pay upfront? Use code FIRST10 for 10% off.

What do you sell?

Ceramic mugs – from ₹299. Classic printed 11 oz mugs in white or black.
Colour mugs – ₹399. White outside with a bright coloured inside and handle.
Magic mugs – ₹499. Colour-changing ceramic — a solid colour until you pour in a hot drink.
Enamel mugs – ₹469. Enamel-coated stainless steel with a silver rim.
Coasters – ₹299. 90 mm square, 2.5 mm board with a gloss finish, or acrylic.
Sipper bottles – ₹499. 600 ml stainless steel with a screw cap and carabiner clip.

We also sell gift sets of two or three mugs, from ₹769.

How does a Magic Mug work?

The coloured coating is heat-reactive. The mug is a solid colour when cold; pour in hot chai or coffee and the coating turns clear, revealing the design underneath. As the mug cools the colour returns – and it works every single time.

How do I care for it?

Ceramic and colour mugs: hand wash recommended to keep the print bright.
Magic mugs: hand wash only. Not dishwasher or microwave safe – heat and detergent damage the colour-changing coating.
Enamel mugs: dishwasher safe. Never put them in the microwave – they're metal.
Coasters: wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Sipper bottles: hand wash recommended; not for the dishwasher.

Will the print fade or peel?

No. The print is sublimated – baked into the surface rather than stuck on – so it survives everyday washing. Just follow the care notes above.

Do you have designs for developers and office folk?

Do you sell gift sets?

Yes – two or three mugs boxed together and priced 15% below buying them separately. See our Gift Sets, including the Panda Family Set, the Mr. & Mrs. Always Right sets and the Diwali Gift Pair.

Do you do wedding or festival favours?

Yes. The coasters include a wedding set — Shubh Vivah, Marigold Mandap and Together Always — and a Diwali set. Return gifts usually run 100–300 pieces; WhatsApp us the quantity and we'll price it.

Can I get a discount on more than one mug?

Yes – buy any 2 mugs and use code BUY2 for 15% off.

Can I order over WhatsApp instead?
